there are prescription drugs that can do this but if you want to do it the right way aerobic excercise would help over time to accomplish these.

you cant lower a pulse for good i dont think. if your exercising by running, keep the running motion going while standing in place for while until you cool down a little bit

stop drinking soda
sugar makes your heart beat alot faster
making your pulse faster, and that probably makes your blood pressure higher

Basically a healthy diet and exercise. Try hiking, jogging, or just walking every day. Go get a "pedometer" that counts the number of steps you walk per day. Recommended is about 10,000 steps.
Also, avoid eating food containing these products:
* high fructose syrup
* saturated fat
* partially hydrogenated products
* sugar
* enriched products (bread, pasta, etc)
* corn syrup
* sodas
* "fast food" such as hamburgars, fries, etc.
* sodium/salt
Consider eating:
* red grapes/wine
* whole grains/wheat
* Olive Oil/Canola Oil
* fiber products
* fruits & vegetables
These are just some of the examples on eating healthy to avoid future heart problems. There are more but can’t remember at the moment.

You might try eating garlic, and cut out all salt in your diet, however You can take steps to prevent high blood pressure by adopting a healthy lifestyle. These steps include maintaining a healthy weight; being physically active; following a healthy eating plan, that emphasizes fruits, vegetables, and lowfat dairy foods; choosing and preparing foods with less salt and sodium; and, if you drink alcoholic beverages, drinking in moderation. Cardio
Eliminating simple sugars and saturated fats
Drinking lots of water
The mind and body are very connected so actually imagine that is already lowered..if you think about it being high that will stress you out which will inturn increase it.
