How do I keep my chicken from getting heat stroke?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Stroke

My chicken lives outside and I am always worried about her getting heat stroke since it gets so hot here (it may get up to be 95 today). I really can’t let her inside all of he time, so what do I do?

have a lot of fresh water where they can get to it. have a hen house w/ open windows. or put mesh over to keep snakes,etc.. out.

If a chicken doesn’t get heat stroke in the oven….I think it will be fine in the yard…..

Why not just cook your chicken, that way your problem is solved.

Chickens are capable of finding a shady spot if there is one. If not you’d better provide one.

chickens are used to bein in the hot temps…but what u could do if your worried that much is keep really cool water in a big container so that the chicken can either get in the water or lay up against the container and keep cool…also put some ice cubes in the water too
